MRI

Common preparations for all MRI investigations.

• Metallic implants in the body are relative contra – indications for MRI investigations.
• Previous Medical records.
• In case of all contrast studies Fasting, KFT report.
• In MRCP (non contrast) test , fasting is required.
• In Abdomen tests Fasting & Bladder full is required.

CT

Common requirements for all CT investigations.

• Previous Medical records.
• In case of all contrast studies Fasting, KFT report.
• In Abdomen tests Fasting & Bladder full is required.

USG

• Fasting requirement in: (6 Hours Fasting) Whole Abdomen, Upper Abdomen and Renal Doppler ( early Morning Fasting).
• Bladder full is required in: Whole Abdomen, Lower Abdomen, Pelvis, KUB and Early Pregnancy.

X-RAY

• Fasting and bowel preparation with medications is required in: LS Spine, KUB, Abdomen Erect or Supine.

SPECIAL PROCEDURES

• Fasting is required in: IVU/IVP, Barium Procedures and other contrast studies.
• Previous Medical records.
• Bowel preparation
